On Thursday I realized we are only 5 weeks from Thanksgiving! I also found out this week that I have the entire Thanksgiving weekend off! Woot! Its my favorite holiday and I plan on enjoying every minute :) Another reason I am excited about Thanksgiving this year is because the wedding pictures should be ready around that time.
The wedding photographer keeps teasing us by posting pictures like this on Facebook.
If they are all as good as these, its going to be amazing!
Fall! This is outside of Pedriks, one of my favorite fruit stands near Sacramento. I had to go out that way for work this week so I stopped in and stocked up on fall fruits: apples, pears and squash (ok, not a fruit)

Another meal outdoors with friends that came to visit for the day from Hawaii. They were thrilled they could comfortably wear "slippers" (flip flops) in San Francisco. It's not often warm enough!
Other fun things this week included:
- Excitement in the City around Giants games. I have a SF Giants pin I wear which wins me "high fives" from people all over the City. The Giants are in playoffs headed (I hope) towards the World Series.
- 100% on my CPR recertification. I know its important, but its tedious to do every 2 years. I forgot my money that day, but since my daughter lives 1 block from the workshop location, she was able to walk the money up to me. Nice!
- Getting to know my new phone. My husband splurged and got me the iPhone 5 for an early BD present. Its small, light and fast. I'm loving it!
Oh Delphina, you need to remember to clean your face after you steal food!

It will be so exciting to get the wedding photos! It's great you get the whole weekend off.
I haven't been keeping up with the games, but friends who are Tiger fans have been very enthusiastic on Facebook and Twitter.
What a beautiful wedding picture! And I love your fall-y picture, too. Delphina is the prettiest color, even with food on her face.

I don't follow baseball but when a local team is winning in any sport it sure is exciting and fun.
That Delphina. She was just in too much of a hurry! I can't wait until you get all the wedding photos -- these samples are just delicious. Hurray for favorite fruit/veg stands! And double hurray for whole week off!!!
